Having vision, inspiration, and power come from within. Can I share a story with you? It comes from the idea that when seeds are planted, they often grow into something unexpectedly wonderful - maybe even while you're not watching. This happened to me10 years ago . . . actually, no, maybe 20 years ago? Nope, neither one. I was born into this life of discovery, creation, and manifestation. I can only see it now while looking back, and it's a perfect time to do so, on the Winter Solstice of 2024.
Last week, I answered a call from a woman who lives locally to me. She was searching for a Reiki healing appointment with me because she needed help. Our conversation led to an offering of hope to her, knowing that she had struggled with ovarian cancer for years, repeating chemotherapy treatments involving platinum-based drugs, and sharing that nothing was actually working for her. I imagine that she may have been divinely guided to call me, but her response to my offer was unwillingness and downright dismissal of how healing could have happened for her.
In May 2006 I discovered perhaps the greatest means of initiating healing available to anyone. It's a crystal created by Earth that helps return the body to wholeness. There's much more, of course, and my journey with this crystal has offered hope to so many people. It's actually how an answer to my prayers came about - not for my mother in that moment, but to everyone else I know who has a similar path of disease and despair. Eventually I learned that wholeness is the root of healing and prevention. We can take this crystal internally to reconnect with wholeness and health. We can choose to feel good, become positive, and accept answers when they arrive into our awareness - even if they don't look like an answer. For the woman who called me, the answer to her prayers didn't fit her idea of how healing should look and feel. Too bad. She's stuck in low vibrational beliefs that keep her from wholeness and ultimate freedom.
I've had dark times. Haven't we all? Death of loved ones - humans and animals - loss, sadness, helplessness and hopelessness. Fear, anger, and strong negative emotions can consume us. For me, these feelings lingered and still live somewhere, but hopefully not in me anymore. Oh, of course, there's a version of these deep and hurtful feelings, but they don't eat at nor identify me. It's interesting to note that I remember praying - quite a bit, actually - for answers. I thought I was praying for my mother to be saved from cancer, or that I would feel whole. The answers came differently from what I thought would happen. They were actually GREATER than I asked for.
Though my mother died of chemo poisoning (I believe. It's hard to point blame when there are so many factors involved), my experiences with her raised my awareness to a better way of dealing with sickness and disease to promote health and healing. Though I often felt "less than", I eventually realized through my energy healing practices that I'm pretty good at being whole. We get fractionated early on from authority figures. Thank goodness I remembered who I am.
The point is, that when we leave some of that low vibrational stuff behind, it's because we want to choose something better. That's why I made the first deck of cards - the business size cards I made 10 years ago. I thought they'd be a little boost toward positive vibrations. I didn't realize they were, in fact, a tiny acorn for the giant oak tree. Thanks goodness for oak trees! Below is the collection of my original deck of inspirational cards.
Then the acorn grew up. The company that harvested, cleaned, and activated the crystal for healing and detoxification became whole itself, finding a home with Avini Health. The biochemist (an earth angel, I believe) has found a home. Our team leaders have hired a positively wonderful guy to help lift our vibrations, and my weekly recordings for the past 2 years have become a podcast to help you learn and grow even more. I love how, as I write this blog article, I know that next year will be different, more magical, more profound, and even better than ever. I'm Living in the Purple.
