STARFISH STORY - MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The following is an excerpt from a well known story about starfish, and how one person can make a difference, not only for the starfish, but for everything in life experiences, Follow the metaphor.
Once upon a time, there was an old man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach every morning before he began his work. Early one morning, he was walking along the shore after a big storm had passed and found the vast beach littered with starfish as far as the eye could see, stretching in both directions.
Off in the distance, the old man noticed a small boy approaching. As the boy walked, he paused every so often and as he grew closer, the man could see that he was occasionally bending down to pick up an object and throw it into the sea. The boy came closer still and the man called out, āGood morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?ā
The young boy paused, looked up, and replied āThrowing starfish into the ocean. The tide has washed them up onto the beach and they canāt return to the sea by themselves,ā the youth replied. āWhen the sun gets high, they will die, unless I throw them back into the water.ā
The old man replied, āBut there must be tens of thousands of starfish on this beach. Iām afraid you wonāt really be able to make much of a difference.ā
The boy bent down, picked up yet another starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean. Then he turned, smiled and said, āIt made a difference to that one!ā

With our Avini Health products, we have the ability to make a difference in profound ways. Who is really talking about and sharing the benefits of detoxifying heavy metals? Who is sharing the idea that the body is a miracle and can heal itself?
In my already full life, I believe we can all make a difference - even if it's for only one person, or one animal. Saving a life may have more long-lasting impact than we can ever imagine.
Let's take the opportunity now to think of someone we can help bring back to a state of wholeness . . . to feel safe in their environment, able to breathe, sleep, eat, and function normally without impingement. This is how we begin to make a difference.
